Quincie Hydock is a native of Virginia Beach, VA where her early training began with Virginia Ballet Theatre and continued throughout high school with the Governor's School for the Arts. She then moved to Richmond to complete a traineeship with the Richmond Ballet and earn her degree in Dance and Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University in their specialized BFA/Performance Track program. Soon after graduation in May of 2013, Quincie made her move to the city where her NYC performance debut was in a self-choreographed work. She has since then performed with The Dance Cartel and Mark Dendy Projects, and currently works with Buggé Ballet and Orange Grove Dance. Quincie is co-artistic director of Q&A Productions, a fiscally sponsored dance company where she and long-time friend Annalee Dare Harlow create and perform together.
