Jonathan is delighted to be joining Buggé Ballet for the making of Apocageddon. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Jonathan studied with Phyllis Lamhut, Gus Solomons, Jr., Stephen Petronio, and Jeremy Nelson and contributed to the processes of original works by Pamela Pietro, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Kendra Portier, and Deborah Jowitt. He is currently finishing a minor in music at NYU Steinhardt while continuing to develop his performing, teaching, and choreography. In addition to working with mishiDance and ChristinaNoel & The Creature, Jonathan recently joined Darrah Carr Dance, performing company rep as well as new works by Christopher Caines and Seán Curran. His studies have taken him abroad to Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and Toscana Dance Hub, where he studied accompaniment with Robert Boston. A collaborative musician, Jonathan has accompanied work by Seán Curran and has composed for Giada Ferrone, Rashaun Mitchell, and Patrick Corbin. A yoga teacher licensed through the Perri Institute for Mind and Body’s 300-hour Pedagogy Course, Jonathan is passionate about seeking, maintaining, integrating, and sharing a wide range of interdisciplinary study through physical practice.
