Hannah Foster is a Brooklyn-based dancer, writer, art advisor and administrator. She graduated summa cum laude from Skidmore College in 2013, where she earned her B.A. in English and a minor in dance. Prior to this, she studied at San Francisco Ballet School on scholarship and performed corps roles in Helgi Tomasson’s The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. After earning her degree, Hannah went on to dance with Boston Ballet as a trainee for its 2013-14 season and later joined Orlando Ballet II. Her repertoire at these companies includes Florence Clerc's La Bayadère; Sir Frederick Ashton's Cinderella; Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker; and Robert Hill's Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Coppèlia. In addition to performing with Buggé Ballet throughout NY and NJ, Hannah currently serves as Programs Manager at Dance Entropy/Green Space, as an art advisor with Sugarlift gallery, and as a freelance writer. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Paris Review Daily, Pointe, Dance Spirit, and Dance Magazine.
